GStirrup Lithotomy Exam Boot FAQ
  1. How do I wash the GStirrup?

You can wash the GStirrup with ordinary medical office cleaners. If the boot pad gets soiled or develops an odor, hand washing or washing machine cleaning is acceptable. The GStirrup can also be cleaned in a dishwasher for deep cleaning and sanitizing.

  2. What should I do if a part breaks?

Please call us at 844-587-8719 for instructions if a part breaks. Your GStirrup is warranted for one year from the date of sale against manufacturer defects. Straps and padding are not warranted and are expected to have normal wear and tear deficiencies. Replacement padded liners, foot pads and straps can be ordered from our website. If a manufacturer defect is the cause of the problem with your GStirrup, we will be happy to correct it for you.

  3. My GStirrup wiggles a little. Is that okay?

The GStirrup was designed to give the physician options based on their preference.  Some physicians prefer to have a slight range of motion with their GStirrups so the patient can readjust during their procedure to find the position most comfortable for them.  In those cases the GStirrups would be used without the wedge that is included with each order.  Some physicians prefer to have the patient immobile during procedures.  In those cases the wedge would be inserted into the boot opening and the GStirrups will be immobilized.

  4. What if the GStirrup does not fit my exam table foot rests?

If the GStirrup does not fit your exam table rests, please give us a call to return it for a full refund. You will be given instructions for returning your GStirrup set. Please save the original box and foam pads for use in shipping the returned merchandise.
