Dr. Joseph Gauta

Introduction

Dr Gauta graduated from Albany Medical College and Tulane University and is Board Certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology). He has received multiple local, regional and national accolades for his dedication to advanced women’s care. His practice is dedicated to 100% outpatient care, including complex reconstructive surgeries like laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy and vaginal reconstruction. Office-based procedures like cystoscopy, tubal occlusion, hysteroscopic myomectomy and endometrial ablation comprise about 50% of his practice. His peer-reviewed published articles and national presentations are about the mechanics and effectiveness of outpatient procedures over those of inpatient hospital stays. He is married to the EVP of Marketing and has three children.
